Morrisville Borough and Capital Health reach accord on EMS

Morrisville Borough Council approves three year deal with Capital Health to provide EMS coverage on a 24/7/365 basis effective September 23, 2018.  Capital Health to utilize current rescue squad building on Washington Street, near the municipal building, as its base of operations.  Capital Health will keep most of the current rescue squad staff.

Borough Manager Scott Mitchell referred to Capital Health as a, “welcomed addition to the community.”  “We are pleased to forge this new partnership with Capital Health and to welcome them to Morrisville Borough,” he said.  “We are already working with the Bucks County 911 Center and other agencies to make the transition to Capital Health as smooth as possible,” he added.  Mitchell noted that, “Chief McClay, as the Borough’s Emergency Management Coordinator, will rapidly integrate Capital Health into our emergency services operations right alongside police and fire.”
