Letters of interest regarding Board Vacancies should be directed to the attention of the Borough Manager at the Morrisville Borough Municipal Building.

Civil Service Commission Alternate: One 6-year appointment, remainder of unexpired term – expires 12/16/25.

Library Board: One position, remainder of unexpired termexpires 3/18/24.

Planning Commission: One 4-year appointment to expire 12/31/25.              




Qualified persons are invited to apply to the Morrisville Borough Civil Service Commission for appointment as a Police Officer with the Morrisville Borough Police Department. An application and details of the selection process may be obtained at the Morrisville Borough Police Department, 35 Union Street, Morrisville, PA 19067, between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Requirements: U.S. Citizen, high school diploma or GED certificate; at least 21 years of age prior to the application deadline; passing grade on the Bucks County Consortium Test; successful completion of Act 120 Training; physical and mental  ability to perform the duties of a Police Officer; and possession of a valid motor vehicle operator’s license. Applicants will be required to meet all Civil Service requirements. Completed applications must be submitted at the above address prior to 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 30, 2021. The schedules for the oral examinations and physical agility test will be announced following that date. Additional mandatory components of the complete testing process include a background check and medical and psychological examinations.



TEMPORARY PART TIME SUMMER HELP – Public Works Department.  Must be 18 years or older in order to operate necessary equipment. If interested please fill out an application  at Borough Hall.
